Bell County Wilderness Survival Group is based in Central Texas, located in Killeen just outside of Fort Hood Army Base.
CEO/Owner Daniel W. Shrigley, a 17 year combat veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Shrigley served as a reconnaissance scout and specialized in surviving on the battlefield with combat tactics, individual and crew serve weapons platforms. Throughout the course of his tenure he developed his intense skills partially through military training and independent activities, research and organizational affiliations.
Daniel W. Shrigley has developed a renown reputation, and is well received by front runners in the survival industry by people such as Bear Grylls best known from Man vs. Wild. Daniel W. Shrigley is currently in an ongoing process with New Show Studios LLC. , which is a television show development company to star in a role on a new extreme wilderness survival adventure television program anticipated to air on prime-time next summer on a major network. Filming is set to begin in the vary near future. So please keep your eyes peeled for this and several other opportunities being offered to Daniel W. Shrigley.
His hobbies include survivalism, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and emergency/disaster preparation and training. Filling a demand and with tremendous passion he has open up a life saving school in Central Texas. As the need for survivalism and training has grown in the recent years, so has the popularity throughout the entertainment industry. Television shows and text books, are no alternative to hands on training, instructors at Bell County Wilderness Survival Group are professional and certified trainers. Our group is a family friendly, offers a friendly, relaxed environment to maximize fun and participation. All group meet ups are held at different site location to assist in Geo-diversity in training. Our classes are structured, designed to be challenging , hence reinforcing memory retain ability. Area's that are covered by the groups instructors are as follow:
Above is a list of several training topics, however long it's not all the available classes on hand. If your wish to have a class taught, submit a request by setting up a member profile at the groups page. Suspended until 01, January, 2013. member dues will be $60.00 for registration, Members will be grandfathered in who registered in before the listed suspense date. Dues will include a group T-shirt, group hydration bottle, para cord bracelet & one lesson.
Additional fees vary by course topic, length and group size. To secure the 2013 season seats available, courses may be purchased upon scheduled announcement. All courses begin on a full schedule late April, 2013.
